“Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him” (Genesis 5:24). What was it about Enoch’s walk with God that moved him from this physical world and transported him into the presence of God? Enoch demonstrated a dedicated walk with God: he set aside his own agenda to fulfill God’s agenda. His walk with God began when he became God-centered instead of self-centered. A true walk with God increases one’s faith level. We can’t say we have a walk with God without the evidence of faith in His Word. A true walk with God lasts a lifetime. Genesis 5:22 says that Enoch consistently walked with God for three hundred years! As Enoch decreased his life in the flesh and increased his spiritual life with God, the Lord manifested Himself supernaturally. A true walk with God can only happen supernaturally.
